Nani

This is me and my Jeep Jackson on the I80 north from Colorado to Portland, October 2018. I stayed for a few days and then returned to Colorado where I spent a year. This man was a stranger who helped me fix my thermostat.

These are my maternal grandparents, Finnish immigrants who came on a boat. They settled in northern Minnesota as farmers. The land is still in my family today. I'm going to Minneapolis in April - it will be my first visit. My grandparents are Albert and Grace.

This is late 1982 so your dad is a few months old (green hat). ToniAnn is next to me and that must be her oldest child. Josh is in front of me with the big grin. He's in kindergarten.

Me working on the back porch of the Baker house, 1988 late summer.

My dad and his brother. So probably 1945 ish.

My brother Marty and me playing guitars on his back porch in. Welches Oregon. 2010.

For a time I was in a band called Tornado Bait during a winter I spent in Phoebus Virginia. The girl in the middle is Msessipi and she's a musical and artist genius.

Lastly, my favorite picture of myself, stream fishing up by Halfway I believe during a spring runoff. I think your dad took it.
